Growing Together: Our School Improvement Program

At OAK, our “Growing Together” programme is a holistic Quality Assurance and school improvement program. Working together with our schools and their leaders, we review and agree on self-evaluation and school improvement priorities, providing both internal school resources and cross-OAK resources, and, where appropriate, opportunities beyond OAK to ensure the agreed school improvement priorities are enabled. We work alongside Challenge Partners as an independent external moderator, which also enables outstanding professional development for our leaders. This process translates our strategic leadership into operational practice through a cohesive support package, backed by excellent operational management in our schools. Our Playbook demonstrates how strategic priorities are translated into operational excellence through sensitive change management and highly effective operational management. At OAK, all our schools are now “Good” or better, but most importantly are focused on our vision of “Together we grow great schools”.
