Steplab Instructional Coaching

We are proud that 2 of our schools have been accredited as a joint Steplab Coaching Hub – the first in the Midlands – reflecting our commitment to high-quality professional development through instructional coaching. Each term, Overdale Infant and Junior Schools open their doors to fellow educators, sharing their bespoke implementation model to coaching and teacher development, including the systems used and the impact this is having.

As a Trust, we embed a culture of continuous improvement, where coaching is a key driver in refining teaching practice and improving pupil outcomes. Visiting educators have the opportunity to observe live coaching, engage in professional discussions, and see how our use of Steplab supports teacher growth.
